I've merged your thread with monkeyboy's. Maybe he has made some experience since his post.

Nothing useful. Tried phoning about a little and no one admitted to speaking English, although most spoke better English that I do German when pushed a little.

Depending upon what you are looking for it might be worth a quick visit to the doctors down stairs in the station. I've had mixed service from there, but when pushed I did get referred to the right specialists.

I see this discussion was a while ago but just in case you still need help I used to go to Doctor Schubiger who spoke brilliant English (is married to an Irish guy). Also Doctor Sonntag in the same practice spoke English.

My doctor, DR. Imobersteg is amazing. He is now officially my main family doctor.

I found the website for St. Anna Clinic that is in Luzern. At the link below you can select a doctor by clicking "mehr" and when you scroll down on the selected doctor's page then it will show what languages they speak. I found that every doctor I looked at said they could speak English and I think you will find almost all doctors speak English here. I went to one of the doctors and their English wasn't good enough to communicate everything perfectly, but good enough to make the visit go smoothly. My experience with doctors here has been excellent. Don't be worried.

Dr. Rentsch at Sanacare http://www.sanacare.ch/Default.aspx?tabid=157, a family doctor is very experienced, thorough and takes a great deal of time with his patients. He spent many years in North America and speaks English fluently. Highly recommended.

I have Doris Suter and occasionally Dr. Graumann when Dr. Suter is out. They are both fantastic and have great English.

I'm trying to contact some doctors some of you recommended; however, I can't get any reply from them. it has been at least 1 week.

I can clearly describe these names but I don't do it.

Does someone know good home doctor who speaks English?
