7 weeks pregnant - looking for a family Dr

Hi i will be joining my husband at the end of the month and have just found out that we are pregnant, it is only 7 weeks but by the time i join him i will be 11 weeks and almost due my first scan. i will be living around bellevue in Zurich and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations of a good English speaking Dr.
Also i wanted my husband to be with me at the first scan but think i will be cutting it fine to try and get this arranged in zurich when i arrive ( as i have not registered yet for medical as not yet a citizen). Does anyone know how quickly this can be arranged?

Dr. Barbara Rossi Meier in Schilflände. it's 5 minutes from bellevue. She speaks perfect English and an excellent gyn.

Congratulations! Do a search for gynecologist here (search box is in the upper right corner) and you'll see lots of recommendations.

Don't stress too much about insurance. It is backdated to your day of arrival. Let's say you are arriving 15 March but you don't sort insurance out until end of March. Even if you visit the doctor on your very first day you'll be covered. As you're already pregnant you might not be able to get supplemental/private insurance, but you'll get the basic and it's certainly adequate for pregnancy and birth.
