I was wondering if it could be possible to get free legal advice (UK equivalent of Citizens Advisory Bureau) in Swiz.

There is not so much really - but you would have rights protection and get ad vice for "free"-ish

TCS members get free legal advice. They will write letters on your behalf and fight your complaint for you.

Your local council office will assist in providing information, dependent on the nature of your issue. Many departments offer initial advice for free.

Some district courts in Zurich offer limited free advice. Usually law students. They know the written law and can provide basic legal information. Ask at your local town hall.

Thank you guys for the inputs. I hope to start with the local town hall office.

Contact your embassy. They should have some names and places you can go.

Also, contact the local legal bar association, they will able to point you to a citzens advisory bureau. Though its not free, I think its 40CHF.

Lastly, since you seem to be in Vaud, contact the Centre Social Protestant. They have jurists available for free.
