Using terms like "she-male" and "tranny" isn't a discussion. Stop being deliberately obtuse.
Alright, that I will take. Its sloppy slang. Apologies.

But those on the thread who consider themselves teachers, bah... yeah right.

Since we are massively off-topic, and there seems to be teachers on this thread, I've been wondering what your perspectives are about the Swiss school system. Is it as good as its teachers make it out to be? If it is, how is it that Switzerland is not generating the expertise it needs to compete in the world, and have to bring in expertise?

The staff canteens are the BEST in the world! What else do you need?

It's not generating enough expertise in every field, simply because there aren't enough people! I think in some particular fields, there's all the expertise that's needed (fondue making being one of them!)

I was surprised (and a bit disillusioned) the first (and only) time I stepped into the school staffroom.

I was expecting an oasis of tranquil, yet arduous toil as teachers marked coursework and worked out their plan for the forthcoming day - perhaps with a babble of intellectual debate and a smattering of quiet classical music, something like The Four Seasons or Air on the G String.

What I saw resembled a bunch of scruffy oiks, two of them canoodling, and notices telling the teachers to clean up their own cups, rubbish and "crap" (I'm hoping that was metaphorical) and to wash their hands after using the toilet (which, admittedly was forward thinking in 1980's Yorkshire).

I'd have been more likely to find hair on a discarded G-String.

Lol

I need you to expand on that one. Seeing as I was on the sharp end teaching government senators (and their mistresses) how to sail and race yachts as a certified master mariner and instructor.
