Affordable Dental

I need crown treatment on one of my teeth -- can someone recommend a practice with some good pricing? I am willing to train it to nearby towns in Germany or France (from Zurich)

any recommendations?

please!
Frank

Re: Affordable Dental

Hi Frank, not sure what "good pricing" is for you, but here is my dentist. Their prices are less than what I expected. You can send an email in English the dentist will respond directly. They are a short trip out of Zurich.

Zahnarztpraxis
Dres. Keiko und Remo Koch-Yamaguchi
Bahnhofstrasse 150 ("Leue-Zentrum")
8620 Wetzikon ZH

Telefon 044 930 21 15
Telefax 044 930 60 54

E-Mail: info@zahnarzt-koch.ch

Hope this helps.

Re: Affordable Dental

I have an excellent dentist in nearby France- but even there, a recent crown cost me just over 1000 Euros.

Hi jesamine thanks for this. I was hoping to avoid paying 1k+ for a crown treatment. I hear germany and france have more competitive prices. Does this apply with your suggested practice?

Thanks,
Frank

Re: Affordable Dental

I had two crowns with Dr Schmidt in Konstanz (they are not open on Saturday though). Here's the website.

http://www.drschmidt.de

Other people I know have used him too and were happy.

This was a couple of years ago now and I have since had check ups here in CH and my dental hygienist (who is very experienced) and the dentist both confirmed that the work was excellent and so I feel I can confidently recommend him.

I can't remember what it cost though, but it was over 1,000 euros per tooth, (perhaps 1,300?) but I remember that it was perhaps half of what it would cost me here (my dentist here is v expensive, even for CH)

huh

Re: Affordable Dental

Hi Frank, my friend got her crown for around 700 CHF. You may be able to get Dr. Koch-Yamaguchi (the woman will answer you, as her English is better) to give you a price range - though not sure on that, given they haven't seen your issue. I can tell you from direct experience that this office is totally trustworthy - they never do more than necessary.
