Multiple sclerosis - connect with others

I have had MS for several years now and would be interested to connect with others and share our experiences and knowledge. I have been in CH for about 16 months, and because I 'brought my illness with me' get no support from AHV/IV. I do get physiotherapy paid for for which I am very grateful. Staying positive is so important yet at times difficult. It would be great to connect if anyone out there wants to.

Re: Multiple sclerosis - connect with others

Found this group that a member here named Jack suggested.

The Swiss MS Society has an online forum, but it's in German. They also have a list of support groups in Switzerland.

I wish you all the best and hope you connect with kind people to support you through this.

Re: Multiple sclerosis - connect with others

There's this thread which was started some years ago - don't know if anyone on it has MS or not.

Interesting new approach to treating multiple sclerosis (MS)

Re: Multiple sclerosis - connect with others

I've been in CH for almost three years and also have RRMS which was diagnosed before I came here. I've not really been in touch with the MS community here though due to the language barrier, so I still get most of my info and support from my contacts in the UK. If I can offer any support or shared experience, however small, just let me know via PM
