Re: Hard Water stains

White alcohol vinegar is great- but you can also buy Viakal in most stores. If it has a thick layer- you will have to put plenty on, leave it to work, rinse and repeat, several times.

Citric acid is also effective.

Re: Hard Water stains

Try a mix of bicarbonate soda and bleach. Mix a soft paste and spread it on and leave it for a while. Then use vinegar afterwards.

Re: Hard Water stains

But it works! Desperate times sometimes require desperate measures.

To the OP, if you look up cleaning bathrooms/showers you'll find lots of homemade fixes like this. Sometimes the bleach is optional, and you can try with just the bicarb as a thick paste and that might be enough. If it's really bad, you might throw all caution to the winds, put the fan on in your bathroom and try with the bleach, too.

Re: Hard Water stains

Use Migros Potz bathroom cleaner. The one in the grey spray bottle. Works a charm.
