Re: Clinic lemanic contracts are scam???

If this is the place then they have a website in English.

https://www.cliniclemanic.ch/en/terms.php

If you had looked at the terms and conditions you would already have seen that once they have your money they are not giving it back...

The only hope you may have (and I am not a lawyer, so take it with a pinch of salt) is that given that you have not yet paid anything the contract may not yet be valid. Also, are you paying the whole amount or only a partial amount. If push came to shove maybe they would do a deal for a part payment.

But having gone to a place with a ritzy-titzy website like this, what were you expecting to pay?

Did you sign the estimation (devis) and mail it back or have it turned in?
If yes, then Tom is right. By your signature, you have agreed to be bound and you agree to its terms and conditions.

If you do not understand the terms of the estimation (devis), you should not sign it. The official language of your area is French. If you do not understand the local language, you should never sign a document. The beauty clinic considers your signature as your intention to enter into the agreement. Once signed, the returned document becomes a contract and is legally binding and the total amount is due.

Nope, she hadn´t (see the answer)

Edit; but it is a sure proof way to get sued for slander (as another person from here already wrote)

Edit 2: Tripadvisor entry is gone. Now the question, who did that??

I was told that it is possible to cancel a contract in switzerland within 7 days after signed. Is this true? I was in clinic lemanic for hair removal and I signed the contract. They told me I have 48 hours to cancel. After some hours I called them to cancel it because a friend of me recommend somewhere that was 1500 franc cheaper (just 500 instead of 2000) and they said I can not cancel because it was written in my contract that it was in French. However they did not translate that for me. When i told them you said I can cancel 48 hours, they said that is the treatment not the contract. They did not even talk nicely after. I do not wanna go there any more. I already sent them a mail by post for cancellation and told them that contract is not valid for me because the translation was not correct during the time I signed. Do you think they can make any troubles for me?

Just to know, I did not pay yet and I did not start the treatment yet. I just signed it and told them to cancel after of couple of hours.
Hey I am back as so many were enjoying the conversation, I have more free time now to offend. Anyone who thinks they can sue me, remember it's Switzerland. Both parties have the rights to talk. We probably go to court and then I probably finish my study and go back to my country till then. Courts take minimum one or two years here. It's a long process and I don't think they want to deal with it either. With my experiences, no one can mess up with me specially if they misrepresent the truth!

Lol, alright.

A zone of the body. So underarms are one zone. Bikini is an other zone. The whole leg is one zone so when you do legs and bikini, it's 59 x 3
