Hello, this is my first ever posting. We are an Australian family moving to Switzerland in August. I have two children and the 4 year old is seeing an OT here. I would like to continue therapy in Switzerland but am unable to find any information about it on the net. We will be moving to a village near Aigle, if that helps (!!). Any information will be appreciated,
Thanks
Welcome to the Forum.
It's called Ergotherapie here in the German speaking part of Switzerland. Ergothérapie in French I think. Probably someone from the Aigle region will be able to help you further.
Hope the move goes well.
Thankyou, I appreciate your help. I had no idea they were called something else. At least I know which path to follow now. I am so grateful I found this Forum, I feel like the move is less daunting now after reading some of these posts.

I know I'm digging up a dead thread, and that the OP probably doesnt even visit this site anymore... however, anyone with info on any towns with OT offices in Switzerland would be great. Trying to find my girlfriend who is an OT work.
Hi! I'm an occupational therapist with 3 years experience with school aged children 3 - 18 yrs old, and 1 1/2 years experience with early intervention home care birth to 3 yrs. old. I'm new to Switzerland and in the process of learning German. Would love to know if there are any places I can observe or volunteer a few hours a day working with children with a variety of disabilities.
we are a French family looking for a therapist for our 8-year old son in Basel. We need to keep him busy on Wed afternoons, some hours on the week-ends and other days 5.00 to 6.30 pm.
