I am looking for any english speaking mom and baby meet ups that are in and around zurich...all the posts i have come across are old or been cancelled.

Or if there isn't one at the moment then i would be keen to start one for anybnody that is interested

Have you tried the WAC in uster http://wac.ch/mambo/ It offers a variety of mother and baby/toddler meet ups offering activites for older kids and a place for a coffee and a chat with other English speaking famillies. There is also a well stocked library of English books and DVD for adults and children. It opperates as a club and membership is very inexpensive. THere are also cultural celebrations for the whole family e.g. Halloween/ easter bunny/ summer party etc.

You can of course always hang out with the locals on Monday Mornings- I am not sure if they still do it, but years ago (like, 4 years ago) they had a "krabbel-gruppe" (crawling-group) in the chappel on the other side of St Sebastians. 9.30 am to 11am I think. Many speak english..

I posted in the other Mom's thread but I am up for a walk around Zurich or whatever else. I live in Kloten..so if anyone lives around Kloten that would be a plus but Zurich is fine as well. My son certainly needs some interaction with other kids (17 months old). So when and where?

Monday is good for me. A walk on the lake sounds good. I haven't actually ever gotten to walk most of the lake yet, so its perfect. What time is good for you?
