Dr Barraud
Forchstrasse 55, 8032 Zürich/ZH
044 383 33 00

I saw her under recommendation from EF here and have no reservations in referring anyone to her.

She was the third dermatologist I saw for my problem and she correctly diagnosed it.

She speaks English.

Re: Good Dermatologist in Zürich City

If this helps your decision - I also have a massive problem with moles and have had a few of them removed, and am in an high risk group... Dr Thürlimann, who shares the practice with Dra Barraud, referred me to the University Hospital in Zurich. They did an very thorough exam, and made a full body photograph to have a better control of all moles. Both professionals were very conscious on their examinations and diagnosis. Above all, none of them told me "oh, you are from the south, you should not worry about it", which is something I heard too often...

Re: English-speaking Dermatologist in Zurich??

Thanks Lucy, appreciate your help.

I don't really have an issue like that, just a couple of annoying and largish moles on my face around the eyebrows which i think i need to have taken off.

So potentially some cutting will be needed here, but i'll leave that to the experts to decide.

Re: English-speaking Dermatologist in Zurich??

Hi All,

Firstly thanks to everyone for your advice, it really helped.

I finally got around to seeing a dermatologist for my moles. In the end I went to see Dr. Thürlimann, Forchstrasse 55, 8032.

He was very professional and thorough, and gave me a complete top to bottom check-out; everything looked fine.

I went along originally due to 4 annoying and rather large moles, and after checking them out in detail, although they didn't look critical, he agreed to reduce and flatten them via shaving and laser treatment, rather than incision.

I had the procedure done two days later, which following the initial local aesthetic was completely painless.

Two weeks later, apart from some residual redness (and one I had shaved a second time to flatten it further - which still has a plaster on) the skin is now completely flat, and looks really good.

I'd recommend Dr. Thürlimann to anyone.

Best regards,

Phil.

Suggestion for a good dermatologist in Zurich

Just a short note, to let you know, that in case you are looking for an excellent dermatologist in Zurich, I would suggest Dr. Barraud. She is an excellent dermatologist, careful and accurate.
After being visited by 2 dermatologist with no success, I have decided to contact Dr. Barraud, and she has successfully find out what was my problem!
