Re: Maternity Clothes & Baby Stuff ?

There's also Benetton, but then that is about it. When I was working I wore non-maternity jersey dresses a size bigger than my usual size and they did me until I went on maternity leave and were really comfy.

Also, if you are interested, I have a size 40 black maternity suit and a couple of shirts that I'm looking to sell (CHF 40). I lived in the suit when I was pregnant and loved still being able to look still smart despite the bump - in fact, I think it's a better quality suit than many of my regular ones!

But don't worry, it won't be long until you get your usual wardrobe back ; )

You're in Würenlos - try Beneton in Baden. Its not a wide variety, but dont go overboard - its not like you have to wear the clothes for ever. I also just bought normal clothes 1 (or 12) sizes bigger.. especially tops.

Re: Maternity Clothes & Baby Stuff ?

I haven't seen maternity clothes in Benetton plus I am assuming they'll be on the small side for me as are most of their clothes.

I have just spent ages looking on a site Sutter posted, i placed loads of items in my basket then i realised i was almost to 400CHF just to try on some clothes so closed it all down. Would much rather shop and try on stuff than have the hassle of sending things back in a language that i don't fully understand

Re: Maternity Clothes & Baby Stuff ?

Delayed response to this thread, but it may also be worth checking ebay for clothes from the UK and seeing if the seller will post to Switz, some won't but for most it's not actually any more hassle as they have to package them up the same way and still take them to the PO or buy postage online.

I did this and got a handful of maternity wear from Isabella Oliver in the UK which have been brilliant. You choose the size based on the IO sizing chart on the website based on your pre-pregnancy size and look for that size on ebay. A lot of them a pretty flexible anyway and you don't need a perfect fit, e.g. wrap around dresses, bandage style tops, stretchy waistlines etc.

Also someone elses post about looking for regular clothes with cuts that work is spot on, I never realised how many stretchy or wraparound clothes I had in my wardrobe until I got fat!

Re: Maternity Clothes & Baby Stuff ?

Dear all,

I am doing a research on maternity clothes and for this reason I have created a short survey to help me. I would appreciate if you could take just 2 minutes to fill it out. Please note that all answers will be anonymous.

Link to the survey: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/D976P7J

Target group is: working women between 25 and 40 years old, Swiss or foreigner, living in Switzerland.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Andréa
