Would like some help from all you out there. Am not fussed if M/F but English speaking and no cold hands would be a bonus. Who has had good experiences?

I can definitely recommend Dr. Pescatore in Kloten near Zurich airport not only for the "mechanical" aspects of gynecology, but also the counseling side.

His wife also works at the same practice so you can take your choice M or F.

He has a great sense of humour too, which can't be a bad thing in his job!! (He also does a wicked Yorkshire and Derbyshire accent, that's how good his English is).

If you would prefer a Dr in the city I used Dr Pierre Villars who is located in Seefeld. I had a very problematic pregnancy & he was brilliant; no cold hands.

Does anyone go to an English-speaking female Gynae in the city? Preferably near Seefeld too?

I'm looking for an english speaking Gynae for my wife. I've tried contacting all of the above mentioned doctors and they are either too busy (waiting time of about 6-months) or in one case nooone picks up the phone.

Can someone please recommend an English speaking gynae in the city (preferably female).

I recently had an appointent with Dr med Arlette Wirtz, Falkenstrasse 25, 8008 Zurich (near Staedelhofen).

It was only a check up, but after two pregnancies with a very good gynae in Germany I was keen to find someone here I can feel confidence in.

I only waited 2 weeks for an appointment - which I am beginning to believe is rare here and was very satisfied with her practice, equipment and her attitude. She also speaks English as does her assistant.

I called them and the earliest they can give me an appointment is 30 July! Not sure if thats normal with all Gynae. Others that I called had a waiting time of 4-6 months.

I guess I won't get dinner tonight!

Hi Tiffany. I am pregnant with my first baby and can recommend a great OB/GYN-as well many friends with and without children use him. He's very patient and speaks excellent english.

Another important aspect is that Gyno should be an english speaking one.
