Looking to Study in Switzerland

Hello all,

I am hoping that some of you can help me. I am looking to move to Switzerland in a year with only my son and my Associates Degree in tow. I want to get my Bachelor's in English and I am finding it very difficult to locate a school that has that as an option. I was wondering if anyone knew of a school offering English as an option for a Bachelor's Degree in Switzerland, or if anyone knows of any American or online universities that offer degrees in English through distance learning programs?

I hope to hear from some of you soon!

Here are a couple links, I am sure there are many more options here than what I've just posted.

Re: Looking to Study in Switzerland

Some Swedish Unis offer tuition free education for both First Cycle (Bachelor) and 2nd Cycle (Masters) completely in English over the internet using WebCT / Blackboard. Two intakes annually over Spring and Autumn ( applications now open ).

There is a previous thread / post on this.

Hope this helps and good luck.

Re: Looking to Study in Switzerland

Have you checked out the University of Maryland? They have an extensive offering of degree programs, including English:

Check out the University of Massachusetts as well. They also have quite a few online degree programs:

Good luck

Re: Looking to Study in Switzerland

I agree with Ready28. The Open University is an excellent option.

Here is a link to their English Degrees and Diplomas web-page:

I'm currently studying with the Open University for a Physical Sciences Degree having previously completed a computing Degree.
