Restaurants with Indoor Playarea

I have a toddler who doesn't sit still for very long and find myself with the urge to get out of the house for dinner again one of these days.

Our last adventure was to Migros, this was mostly a success (except for the food ) so I thought we'd try it again.
Just today someone told me there's a Mövenpick restaurant on the highway by Kempthal which has an indoor playarea. I haven't checked this out yet but may be desperate enough to try it soon.

So here's the question: Does anyone know of any restaurants (other than Migros) where they have an area for kids to play? I mean, one where you can eat your food and be right there with them.
Preferably in the Zürich Area.

I'm curious what's all out there!

Re: Restaurants with Indoor Playarea

I've no recent personal experiences to help you, but googling Restaurant Spielecke gave me, among other things, a Mums' Forum and suggestions from Wir Eltern. It isn't much and probably other Mums can help more but perhaps they haven't found these either.
Good luck with the Search.

Re: Restaurants with Indoor Playarea

hi destiny
don't know if this would help: we're near baden, so there is this great coffee shop with play area at a nursery in schinznach dorf http://www.zulaufquelle.ch/zulauf-sc...illkommen.html, have you ever been to the rösti farm http://www.roestifarm.ch/, and then there is the airport in birr...but their play area is outside. http://www.birrfeld.ch/
and then of course ikea in spreitenbach and also manor (also outside..)
hope that helps a bit, let me know when you find the definative list!

Re: Restaurants with Indoor Playarea (Kt Aargau)

There is also the play area just outside the Coop restaurant at Coop Aarepark in Würenlingen. Kuhgässlistr. 7 5303 Würenlingen

I have no idea what to call this thing so here is a photo.

Kids must remove their shoes before entering.

Re: Restaurants with Indoor Playarea

i saw in the paper today that aarepark in würenlingen is open until 10pm now.

they are calling it "night shopping".

hey, maybe this idea might catch on in some other countries
