As I have to work 9 to 6, my wife is the only one at home with the 5-month-old baby, both of them are so lonely at home, we know virtually nobody in zurich, it would be great if anyone in the similar situation would like to join the lonely two for some chip-chat in the day time, drop me a line please!!

ohhhhhh thats sad dude. I know that feeling, it stinks. Try and find a mother and baby/toddler group, there is bound to be one nearby. Ask at the Rathaus someone might know or at the local doctors praxis or just stick a card up in your local Migro/Coop. We are a good hour and a half from you so cant help you out. Good luck.

I think on yahoo groups Carmen hosts a parents group (along with a number of others) for people in Switzerland, who can give you more detailed advice.

Your local kreis buro/gemeinder should be able to give you a list of mother & baby groups in your area.

Otherwise, I would suggest obtaining a copy of the new stork times. Here is a link below. Many tips for people in the same situation, playgroups, coffee mornings etc.
