Can anyone recomend a good English Speaking Primary Care Physician in Baden?

I see that you are new with ABB here. Did they not give you a relocation package, because generally your relocation consultant should cover all that stuff for you?

Snoopy is right. The relocation company should give you this information, it is part of the service provided in getting you settled here. The information should be tailored to your needs, not just a standard package that doesn't take into account your particular situation. Some of my clients would prefer to have their children see a female pediatrician, some prefer a male, others have no preference. I only find this out by asking what their needs are. I like to give choices too, not just my personal preference but that of others. The pediatrician our children went to many years ago in Baden is excellent but there are others too.

I always ask if there are any special medical needs well in advance of the move. For example, I have a client with a child with severe food allergies. I prepared cards, in German, for the parents to carry at all times to avoid any misunderstandings.

Not sure why you groaned at my post but considering that you have been living here 3 and a half years, I am amazed that you need help finding a doctor. For someone who just arrived, I understand.

You obviously don't know how to search on this forum either so I have done it for you.

I am new to Baden just moved from Zurich. Don't work for ABB (dont know why someone thought I did). Do not have the support of relocation service, even if I did its not relavent to my question.


Just want to hear from people who live in the area about doctors they feel confident in. Choosing a doctor is very important. Your placing your health and that of your family in their hands. You never should just choose a doctor from a phone book or a list without hearing from people who had exerience with them.

I come from a family of doctors and believe me.. There are good and there are bad and really bad once.

Please if you know of a doctor you and your friends are really happy with I would really appriciate to hear from you.

Well if you had done the search here, you would have found the link in which one member posted their comments about the experience they had at one clinic. That is what you were looking for right, feedback? That is what you got....so why another groan?

As you work in Baden, why don't you ask your some of your colleagues or friends? That is often how people find things out.

I think you will find that the more you come onto this forum and groan at people, the less inclined anyone is going to want to help you.

I dont work in Baden. We don't really know anyone in the area. I would like to hear your own exeriences if you would like to share.

If you would like to help, I really want to hear your thoughts on which local doctor you recomend. Glocals has started a ranking site for doctors which is really helpful but not post yet for Baden.

Well seems like Snoopy & Mrs.Doolittle replied in response to Grinold & not to your original query.So I see no reason for groans against their posts.

BTW I have used the services of Dr. Martin Meier in Wettingen once & he is really good.

Wasn't replying to you. And, if you were using a relocation service, then it would be very relevant as it is their job to help with stuff like that. Anyway, Mrs. D has pointed you towards the right thread.

You might want to be a little more sparing with the groans though. I have enough (that I deserved) without getting ones that I didn't.
