I am italian living in Switzerland with a permit B. I am pregnant. My partner is Swiss. IIs it true that the baby will not have a swiss nationality, but an italian one, even if we eventually marry?

My sister is irish also here on a B permit, she had her then boyfriend now hubby's baby before marriage. 2 Babies were born Swiss. She also has them as Irish on her passport, and they have Swiss IDs. Basically your boyfriend has to acknowledge Baby as his during registration and open up his own family book at the Gemeinde.
Then Baby is Swiss.
