We are planning to move to Basel Stadt or Land mid of this year. One of the key factors we need to consider before finalizing an apartment is the distance from Primary & Secondary Schools.

Can somebody share where the Primary & Secondary Schools are located in Basel Stadt and Basel Land ? Is there a website where I can find this info.

This assumes that you are going to place your children in local schools. The site tells you a bit about education here, but no map I'm afraid. When looking at property, most will tell you how far the nearest schools are.

Generally children are expected to walk/make their own way to school here from age ~7 onwards. This means that usually there will be a school not far from you, so I wouldn't worry too much about where schools are, unless you are looking to get into a particular catchment area. For example, some people can be snobby about schools if there are too many non-Swiss children there (i.e. too many Turks or Slavs - sad by true).

Another thing, is that many Swiss folk that I've spoken to have told me that BL schools are better than BS schools.

You might look into Birsfelden, Baselland, but you still can walk downtown in about 20 minutes along the Rhien. It has good schools.
