French Bac vs IB

Hi, does anyone know if a an IB (International Baccalaureate) provides as good a level as a French Bac please? Tks for yr help. P

In our uni we accept both.
I think the IB personally is better since you have some exposure to people from other countries as opposed to just the French

The IB is more rigorous than the French Bac. For instance UK universities will not accept the French Bac for a place to study medicine in the UK ( according to our Universities guidance counselor ).

It really comes down to what you prefer. The French Bac is, in many ways, a throw back to an older and more stratified examination system which prizes rote learning above individualized responses. Some very much prefer that, others do not.

Except for medicine in the UK, both will get you where you want to go.
