| | | Dr. Spiller Slimming Gel for Post Pregnancy tummies
My Last pregnancy left me with alot of excess skin and numerous strechmarks. I had wrinkles stemming from my bellybutton 360degrees, fanning out, and the stretch marks were large, and of course unsightly. Basically I had the belly of an 90year old. I visited 2 dermatologists (one was almost speechless), and both recommended plastic surgery.
Two months ago, I started using, the Slimming Gel with the Firming lotion from Dr. Spiller, Bio cosmetics. Essentially the Slimming Gel heats up the top layer of your skin, forcing it to burn fat,and the Firming lotion, stops the burning, soothes the skin and firms it - of course.
Having dark skin, I can manage heat quite well, actually, i didnt feel it burning at first, but my skin was as red as it could be.
After 12 treatments, the wrinkles dissapeared, and now after 6 weeks, the skin is much firmer, and the stretchmarks look alot better.
I was skeptical about writing this thread, as everybody's skin is not the same, and of course reacts differently, well, it has worked fro me, and this is the best recommendation that I can give.
The reps name is Gaby Vera, pm me if you need her cell number, and she speaks English as well.

have you got the ingredients listed on the package ?
I'm allergic to lots of things...
Oh, found the ingredients online: Warming Body Gel with plant extracts. Especially for Burning Extra Fats and Cellulite problems. Apply daily with gentle strokes. Ingredients : Aqua (water), Alcohol Denat, PEG-40 hydrogenated Castor Oil, Propylene Glycol, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Fucus Vesiculosus (Bladderwrack) Extract, Aesclus Hippo-Castanum (Horse Chestnut) Extract, benzyl Nicotinate, Ethoxydiglycol, Disodium Edta, Limonene, Butylene Glycol, Hedera Helix (Ivy) Extract, Citrus Dulcis (Orange) Flower Oil, Lactic Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Propylparaben, Linalool.
Translated - water and alcohol, castor oil and propylene glycol, carbomer - these are the 'cream'
Triethanolamine - preservative
Oooh, there's a lot of 'burning' ingredients in there - lactic acid, linomine, ivy extract, orange extract.
Benzyl nicotinate is what will also cause redness, as it encourages dilation of the blood vessels - blood flow.

The stretch marks typically reduce with time although you obviously had the effect that you were looking for.
Our doctor recommended to my wife some cream that helps to prevent stretch marks. The fact is that after looking at the ingredients its was the equivalent of putting cocoa butter moisturizer at nearly six times the cost!
Those doctors!! |

Did you have a c-section and did it get rid of the scar too?

I've found Bio-oil to be really good too. And it smells lovely!

I did have a c-section, but that was 5years ago, no, the scar is still there. 2nd Baby was natural.
Bio oil is great, but not for excess skin.
Yeah, there is alot of burning ingredients, if you are sensitive to heat, the rep didnt recommend it. I on the other hand, grew up in S. Africa, the school playground had 1 tree for 600 students.
I knew i wouldnt be able to wear a bikini again, but at least i can look at myself in the mirror again.

thanks much | | | | | I used the Palmers coco butter one that you can get in Toys R Us. My best friend recommended it. No stretch marks on my belly I started with a really expensive one from the pharmacy but I found it didn't coat my skin well and I still felt really itchy from dry skin.

There really is no way to prevent stretch marks, if your going to get them you are going to get them. The most you can do is to try to keep your belly moisturised and gain weight at the appropriate rate. Find out if your mum, aunts or sisters got them; if they did you probably will too. | Quote: | | | | | hello,
