Giving birth in Lausanne this July...Heeeelp!

I am 6 months pregnant with my 3rd and will be due this July. I am moving to Lausanne area in the end of May which is just shortly before my due date!

I am looking for an OBGYN and a clinic..I already contacted Clinic Cecil but found out its a bit expensive specially I have to deliver c-section due to my previous experiences.. Other than that I have a prtial insurance I also heard about clinic de la Source too but don't have any information about it..
Could anyone please recommend me a good OBGYN ( english speaking) and a good Clinic in Lausanne area? If you have any experience with Cecil or La Source please do share

Many Thanks for you help

You mustn't worry about the quality of healthcare. The CHUV (Cantonal hospital in Lausanne) is known to be one of the best.
In fact when there are any issues, such as prematurity etc, the patients and babies are sent to the CHUV.
Give them a call, even if the admin people don't always speak English, I'd say 90% of the doctors do.

Take care

My wife's experience in the past (2 kids) was excellent using Clinique Montchoisi http://www.montchoisi.ch/ and her OBGYN was/still is Dr. Paul Janecek, a most excellent doctor who I think speaks English. He is tops in his field.

Re: Giving birth in Lausanne this July...Heeeelp!

I've met a lovely lady nurse from the CHUV (who works in the maternity ward) who speaks english and seems more than happy to provide information for mothers to be

If you would like me to pass on your contact details to her. Or I can request if it's okay if I send you her details just let me know. She may be able to help and/ or put your mind at ease.
