Hi am a youngish(28) mommy of two kids, 4 and 5 and live in Zürich. I love Zürich and find there are a lot of things to do with kids and the city is most of the time child friendly. I am still looking for more SPORT activities for my kids, they are very sporty(mainly my son) and would love to get them into gymnastics, soccer, etc..I have so much German interaction during the week that I would love to find more activities in English, that is my main request on this forum. PLEASE ANY leads on sport groups for kids in English in the Zürich area(well I drive basically anywhere, I am Canadian so up to an hour is pretty close for me)!! Thanks for any lead, appreciate it very much!!

For sports activities for your children, it might be worth asking round the English speaking Pre-school groups (some Info on this Thread). You could also ask this member if she knows anywhere.

Even if the sports group itself is not specifically English, it often happens that the news will be passed around by an English speaking Mum that the coach or leader or whatever speaks the language and that their are other youngsters English children there.

Great, thanks for the tips, especially the soccer! OO, if anyone is interested the Zoological Museum at the Univeristy of Zürich is a great place to take kids on a rainy day..Has a lot of things for kids to fiddle with, and it is free.
