My daughter who is 5, has taken quite a liking for perfume. I've just noticed that she has been bought a children's perfume & is really over the moon about it, asking me to smell it when she puts it on to go out every time.

I have one day a week when we have a day together alone & I always try to do something special for her. I would like next week on our day to make perfume with her but don't have a clue how to except that I remember as a child my sister crushing flowers & making perfume with our gran.
I would imagine that crushing petals of say Roses, adding distilled water.... no sorry, haven't a clue, can anyone help please?

i would imagine there is not much petal crushing involved, but rather "just" the mixing of essential oils. How do I know it, being a guy? Recently my wife and I were on a trip to Provance, where I had to accompany her to a factory tour at Fragonard in Grasse (apparently the Mecca of perfume making)
