| | | Manicure Nails with Gel in Basel (almost)
Hi girls!
I know plenty in here are looking for a place to have their nails done. With the Gel technique without the price of a cash down of a house. A girl did offered that service on the forum (with acrylic) but we still didn't hear from her since....
I found a place, loved it!
The woman is lovely. She is able to speak english, not perfectly but enough to be able to understand each other. She does a great job and she is also friendly.
Her name is Vivienne, she is asian and is the owner of the place. She has also her mom working with her with other employees.
I got my nails done with the gel and it cost me 45 Euro. It is in Weil Am Rhein in the Center just next to the border.
When you come from the parking inside at the EG floor, it is on the same floor than Martkhauf and it is on the right side under the escalator.
You don't have to take an appointment, but it is better. They are so busy, incredible!!!
I will definitely go there again and again.
I took a picture of the price list:

Hi Nil, the problem with Gel nails is that they break pretty easily unless it is acrygel...mine did not last a week...so much for Swiss quality
I am still looking for a place that does acrylic nails | | This user would like to thank Angela-74 for this useful post: | |

Angie, I swear to you, they are strong like rocks!
I have mine since more then a week and God knows how clumsy and rough I am with them and they looks as good as if I just went out of the salon...
I cut them myself because I found them a bit to long for what I can handle and I was scared to break them. No, they didn't break and they still awesome!
Believe me!
The product she used was powder and when mixed with a product, it transformed it gel.

Not so!!
When they are done properly with the new generation of gels they last indefinitely. There are also safety issues associated with acrylic based products. | Quote: | | | | | Hi Nil, the problem with Gel nails is that they break pretty easily unless it is acrygel...mine did not last a week...so much for Swiss quality

It took an hour! But she was answering the phone as well. They work very well. Angie, I'll send you a pic of my nails if you want? Of better, I'll see you anyway to bring you the stuff.
I am very impressed and happy with the result. I am also amazed how strong they are. If it was normal plastic nails, I would have broken them lond time ago.
I will do my toes as well for the vacation!

Hi!
Your post is almost a year old and I wonder if you are still doing your fingernails out there. Or maybe would you happen to know if the lady still runs a bussiness? I want to continue to do my gel nails and I look for a good place.
Many thanks in advance!

Not sure in St Louis but I would avoid the place Nil recommended like the plague (the one in Markauf), the service is awful it does not matter if you make an appointment they still make you wait, the personnel is rude and the place is so cramped I am amazed it is legally there.

The place in Rhein Center, near marktkauf, is fine. My mam has had false nails done there a couple of times, and was thrilled, compared to what she has had done, in Ireland and in Australia. Yes, it is a bit cramped, and the staff are not chatty. I went for a pedicure and twice they told me their chair was broken. They had not called me to cancel because they don't take numbers when you book, so if you want, you could call them before leaving home to check your appointment is still on...
