New Dad@home - does anyone live near Nyon and would like to meet up (with Kids, of course)? Mine are 2 and 5 years old.

Well I'll be moving to Nyon on the 19th July from the Uk. Yes I'll be a dad @home for the most part with our son almost 2. Whilst the Wife works in Geneva from August 2nd.

sometimes I wonder around looking for somewhere to hang out, Nyon is 30 minutes away though. any good beaches around there for 3 boys, well 4 really?

well I haven't checked out the beaches yet. I have been a few times to Nyon and I'm still just finding my way around.

However there is at least one beach at Plage communale des 3 jetées and colovray.

Interesting. I'm going to be unemployed for a while until my son can get a full time place in the local nursery. He has three days a week starting mid August.

Strangely enough I'm an IT Engineer with 18 years experience and holding an MCSE 2003. So any IT contacts I can make would be great.

The other good place for kids nearby is Signal De Bougy. Great place for the Kids (so I'm told by the Wife who went there as a child many years ago.)

Entry is free and there is a Migros restaurant on site.
