My Google searches have not been effective: anyone have their children involved with eurythmics classes (4.5 and 7 year old children)?

They will probably do it or something similar at school, especially your younger child. My daughter's just finished two years of enfantine, and 'rythmique' was a scheduled lesson at least once a week (quite separate and different to 'gym') with a specialist teacher.

They would do different movements and sort of drama plays set to music, where they pretend to be forms of transport, or weather, or trees or some such. The goal seemed to be to feel and express emotions through music and dance - we used to go and watch their little shows a couple of times a year, it was really cute.

Not sure if it continues into first grade; I'll find out in a couple of weeks when she starts back at school.

There is rhythmic dance classes in Nyon. The link you gave was Geneva. Not sure what you are looking for? classes in Lausanne? how far are you willing to travel?

Hi - this is exactly what I was looking for! Wonder if you have any recommendations? Pully is fine - I am looking in and around Lausanne. I don't want to have to travel too far.

Oh, one more thing: wonder if you know of Dalcroze taught through a school of music? The classes that my daughters took before were at a school of music, so the classes were also introducing instruments and singing.

The 'conservatoire de l'ouest vaudois' has dalcroze classes in Morges. Sorry but I know the la Cote area better than Lausanne. Check the yellow pages under music schools and also under dance schools, and you should find them all.
