Rep to the one that answers, my cost for not being able to find the answer via search. And.. the pills they give me to swallow... apparently they can make you tired, so I heard 10+ times.

So, my back has a pulled muscle from lifting a not so small child (anymore) into a rear facing carseat (seriously, those are designed to bust your back).

The Dr, got prescribed the bills. CHF90 for the pills and I dont know how much for the Dr. But they asked for insurance and all I had was my Assura sickness insurance. Accident insurance is provided by my employee.

So.. how to I claim back the CF90 and how do I let the Dr know who to bill? Because I get the feeling it is all headed to Assura.

Hi,

AFAIK, your company's HR should know about this, and they will give you a form for you to fill out. They will claim it to the accident insurance company.

For the pills, they also have a form for reimbursement.
For the doctor's bills, just handed over to the HR, they should take care of it.


I hope you prompt recovery.

Being a bit of an expert on this sadly (off work now with fair ride whiplash and concussion and have had some lovely skiing accidents in the past), you need to get a form from your health and safety dude at work and on this is an accident number. You give this to your doctor and/or hospital and they do the rest.

Well I now realise why they say to hold on to the safety handles and not put your arms in the air

The doctor will most likely bill you directly unless you tell him clearly this was an accident and should be billed to accident insurance.

Or you can pay and get money back from insurance.

Spoke with the administration people at work, they asked to put the 'expense' into our billing system once the bill arrives.
