Can anyone recommend a bilingual playgroup (for a child aged over 2) in Basel. We are moving to Reinach and are ideally looking for somewhere within 20 minutes of there.

This is a link i was sent about one opening in Oberwil in September, i have contacted them as well today as I also have a 2 year old who is needing to get out and have fun with other kids.
Do you know of any mum and toddler groups in the area? They seem to be quite hard to track down but it might just be due to the holidays, hmmm

Hello Past and Current Kid's Campers and Families,

This e-mail is just to inform you about the expansion of Kid's Camp.
We haven't launched our official marketing yet, but with the recent
closure of local child care facilities,
we thought we would get the word out and hopefully save some families
some stress.
Kid's Camp is expanding to provide a Day Care service in Oberwil,
with a start date of September 3, 2007.
This will be open to children from 2 years old and will be open daily
from 8-18:00 and also will provide a hot lunch option.
We will also provide an after school club with various weekly music,
sports and language activities as well as an adult education and
fitness program.
This is a brand new venture in a brand new facility. Final touches
are now being put on our brand new 250m2 building where we will also
have our own private playground.
The programs will be offered bilingually. Spaces are limited to 20
in the Day Care Center, so please contact us if you wish to reserve a
spot or to get more information.

If you are still looking for somewhere to take your child to, there is The Open Door in Basel. It is an English speaking enviorment. They have Parent/Toddler, Playgroups, starting for 2 year olds, and Structured Learning groups. You can take a look at www.opendoorbasel.ch if you like.

We live in reinach. Ahead in Engish is great but mainly for older kids. Hope you settle in well.
