| One man GmbH, getting taxes right
Hi all, me again. I spent weeks searching, but still have no clarity, how much of invoicing I will lose on taxes and social payments.
I am planning to sell IT consultancy from my Swiss GmbH and invoice Finnish Consultancy firm which will invoice the Client -- International Enterprise for my work. I am planning to invoice some €13.000 a month. Finnish firm I will invoice is not interesting on my VAT issues, so I will need to pay VAT myself. This leaves my GmbH with €12.000 *11 ~€130.000 per year ~158000 CHF. However, I read in a book that VAT does not need to be payed if service is sold abroad. Does someone have any experience or knowledge on this topic?
We will live in Winterthur, there are four of us in the family, single earner. Let's say, I want to take 119.000 CHF out of firm yearly. How much will I pay taxes and social fees from the firm and from the salary? I really tried to figure this out with calculators, but amounts differ very much between different sites. They also do not say, how much is employer's payments.
Is there any reason to take money out as a dividends? Is there any reason in taxation matters for not taking 100% of firm's earnings out as a salary or dividends and leave them for a rainy day?
I really appreciate all answers which shed a light on this critical topic. If this can't be solved without a tax adviser, well, I understand that too.
