UBS Key Club Points

Now I know I’m a bit slow on the uptake and that you are all probably aware of this but maybe new arrivals wont realise this.
For the last 2 years I’ve been getting UBS key club points that relate to Visa card spending, these are generally accompanied with a Key club magazine highlighting the special offers like chf 30 discount on a box of cigars or discount on a weekend away at a wellness centre, all of which have never interested me.
But just last week I discovered (duh) that there are a whole host of shops that accept these vouchers for payment of goods. I’ve got 375 points in vouchers here that can be spent in Manor, intersport, fust, swisscom, H&M etc etc . So now when you buy at Coop or Migros pay with UBS visa and get the shop points as well as key club points. Voila !

It may be of particular interest that you can also pay flights booked on the Swiss website with the points. You book, choose the option to pay with the points, send the points in and the rest of the amount, if any, is charged to your credit card or whatever you chose there. The UBS key club magazine always contains an overview over the stores that accept them (the pages in rather small print in the back of the brochure).

Caution, though, they do expire, so you should use your oldest points, first.

If you don't feel like shopping, you can send them in, and get Reka cash points in return. I believe the ratio is 1:1. As good as cash come public transport Abo renewal time...

Or if you are a good customer take them along to your bank manager and say I have not got a clue what to do with these, I have already paid my credit card for two years and don't smoke, drink or take public transport. And hey presto he will credit the money on your account. Works particularly well if you have a mortgage with UBS, in which case you practically get thousands of the things...

Re: UBS Key Club Points

Wow looks like I'm contacting UBS for a mortgage to subsidise my Travelcard.
Now if only I could get a job in UBS
