Re: which banks allow for paypal money transfer?

It worked for me with the Postfinance ac without anyproblem.

For the UBS accounts, I think there is no need to add .78Z from the account number 123456.78Z as the last part is for identifying the account type and catagoery. Give a try without that in Paypal and if it accepts, paypal will send some deposit to veriy your account. Receiving succesfully the deposit from paypal means it is correctly configured.

Re: which banks allow for paypal money transfer?

I remember reading this post so was concerned about linking Postfinance to Paypal.

Absolutely no problem at all and just took 2 days to verify.

The only slightly confusing part was that they asked for a clearing number, which is simply some of the digits before your account number in the IBAN number. If they just asked for an IBAN number in the first place, it would have been easier for both sides.

Re: which banks allow for paypal money transfer?

hello i have trouble regarding my UBS account and linking it to Paypal

When i tried linking it with my Bank Card, i could not because there is a limit of 16 characters when placing the account name while my account name has 21 characters...

when i tried linking it with my credit card, there was a problem and paypal told me to try again every time..

Re: which banks allow for paypal money transfer?

I use Postfinance
PP-Postfinance and Postfinance - PP
both directions -free of charge
I send 200 CHF from Postfinance and receive 200 CHF in PP
takes ~2 days from send to receive

Try this Swiss Paypal number. I have found them to be very helpful: 0800-721-133 You can also try: 0844-560-158...Good Luck
