it's my first time contribute to 3rd pillar in CH.

Today I received a letter from Tax department asking for "official statement of 3rd pillar payment".

can anyone clarify what is it? I made 3rd pillar contribution via Credit Suisse, is a copy of statement from Credit Suisse suffice??

when did you make the contribution?

Is this for your 2010 tax assessment? If so, CS should have giving you an end of year statement for all of your accounts. These are usually clearly marked with something along the lines of "End of year statement", and usually comes in duplicate.

If you didn't get it, or have lost it, ask for another, as suggested by Tom.

I went to CS and asked for another copy of the statement, and that is what the letter referring to.

I made the contribution last year, it takes 8 months to process apparently.
