After searching around in the forums I didn't find this issue addressed, nor did I have a better place to put it. I'll be a student at the Graduate Institute in Geneva, though will probably be living a little farther out to economize on rent. Which bank is the best for my needs? I anticipate using my home country cheques for rent and tuition, and only using my bank account for daily transactions and cellphone and other bills.

Which in your opinion is the best bank for this, based off ATM distribution, possible student bonuses (my old BNP account gave me 100 euros just for studying at sciences po) and ease of int'l money transfer? Cantonal? National?
