Financial information of stocks of past years

Hi there,

I'm on the look out for any webpage that gives financial data of common stocks for last 12 quarters. An example of the financial data that I seek

Sales figures, (Q1 to Q4) - 2008, 2009, 2010 ...

What I can manage to find is annual figures of past years and not individual quarters of past years. It is even difficult to find this information at commany web pages.

Do some members in EF forum know of some webpages that compiles this kind of information. I am looking for this information to screen stocks ...

Thanks in advance

Ashish

Re: Financial information of stocks of past years

Ashish,

For my job, I oftentime in the past used CapitalIQ, Moody's, and of course my favorite of all, Bloomberg's terminals.

Both CapIQ and Moody's require purchasing a license though, as far as I know at least. If it's for your job that you need the data, perhaps you can check if your company has/can get access to a license?

I hope some other EFer is able to point you to free resources of this type, if they are available - you didn't specify whether you were hoping to access the info for free or whether paying for a license wasn't an issue.

Good luck!

Re: Financial information of stocks of past years

Thanks.
I registered as a free member of gurufocus . I looked around at the links like - How to use Guru focus, etc ... but I don't know where to find the financial data of companies ...

All I am interested is to find out the financial data released over the last 3 years (last 12 quarters).

Thanks in advance

Ashish

Re: Financial information of stocks of past years

I am a private individual and looking for non-confidential information, available for free in the public domain.
I want to learn some aspects of stock selection and hence the quest.

Thanks
Ashish

You need to search for a ticker (top right) and once you get the information for that specific company go to the tab 10-Y financials.

It does not seem to be free ... I get this message, "This page is for Premium Members only." Anyway, thanks.
