"Credit Suisse Group has reached an agreement with the Düsseldorf Public Prosecutor's Office, which launched an investigation in 2010 in which Credit Suisse employees were accused of assisting clients in the evasion of taxes. The German authorities are now dropping the investigations concerning employees, while the bank will make a one-off payment of EUR 150 million. The relevant applications will be submitted to the Düsseldorf District Court today by the Düsseldorf Public Prosecutor's Office. This will bring the entire proceedings to a close."
That's quite a cheap deal isn't it ? All rather quiet and discrete.
Or is that just Dusseldorf, meaning every other dorf and stadt can still sue/claim from Credit Suisse.
