Hehe. I know what you mean, my parents house was 15m from the Baltic (at high tide). I would not like to live _that_ close to the Atlantic, and as things are we have to make do with 800m to open sea.

This one's an absolute no brainer.
I'd move to a cheaper European or Carribean country and live like a King, or move to Bali and live like an Emperor.
If Switzerland is that amazing, then why not live somewhere like Italy or Spain for the cheap, sunny, relaxed Mediterranean lifestyle, while at the same time being close enough for a visit to Switzerland whenever you feel like it.

There's a reason Lewis Hamilton moved to Geneva.....and then later made a swift exit, citing the boredom of living there. If you got cash to burn why not live somewhere exciting with a year-round hospitable climate, and where your money goes a lot further! 20,000,000 living in CH probably equates to 30,000,000 living in Spain.
2 million in will buy you a standard run-of-the-mill house in Zurich.....or a mansion in Florida.....I know which one I'd prefer.

I'd stay, but I'd also setup a proper burger joint and BBQ place so expats wouldn't have to suffer anymore

personally, i love this country and i wouldnt move, specially if i had that much money id buy a bigger place here and id travel around europe more frequently to see new places and maybe look for a way to increase my 20 million heheh

Sure would stay in CH. Would probably buy a modest house, set up a huge music room, a large library, a large media room and never work another day of my life. I would be able to spend the 8 to 12 hours a day I sell to my employer in something I REALLY enjoy, and with my family rather than with colleagues. Oh, man...why did you have to go and ask the question ?

Yes I would keep CH as a base. Would probably also buy a mountain retreat plus a beach retreat in a nice peaceful country and then divide my time between.
