I am looking to purchase a car out of Switzerland (maybe Germany) as I understand it should me much cheaper.
However, I will need some finance. As an L permit holder I do not expect it to be easier in Switzerland...
Does anyone has an experiance with any sort of finance arrangement in Germany, maybe through dealers?

With an L permit, I'm afraid your chances of finance are rather slim. What I would recommend is perhaps approach your personal back and find out if you could take out a personal loan. I'm not sure what kind of surety they would request from you and you might get charged a steep interest rate.

As an L permit holder it is not advisable to buy a Car from outside - You would save a little bit of money for sure but trust me Cars are cheaper here too ,, all you need to do is search & spend time . I bought both my cars here in Swiss from Autoscout24.ch - which my friends in Germany claimed it to be cheaper than in Germany... I am sure you wouldn't be planning for something beyond 15K being in L So don't get carried away - just search & get a good one with MFK from Zurich itself & have a peaceful time driving ;-)

I would say it is highly unlikely that you could obtain finance from a German dealer if you are not a resident.

And as said before obtaining finance here on an L permit can be difficult if not impossible. There may be some companies willing to do so, but would likely also be the ones with the higher rates. Perhaps a check on comparis may come up with something?
