| I transferred CHF 3500 from my PostFinance account on Thursday to my UK bank, after filling in a pink slip of paper at their office, they said it would take 2/3 days.. does that mean 'working days' as it is now Tuesday and the money hasn't turned up in my UK account yet... this I calculate as 4 working days.. should I panic yet and go kick the banks ?... ( I checked all the details IBAN / BIC etc. are correct )... or am I just over-anxious as I've not transferred money like this before, and just Googling I see lots of horror stories relating to transfers....

Friday: pink slip is processed by PostFinance. 1st day
Saturday, Sunday: don't count
Monday: 2nd day
Tuesday: 3rd day. Payment should be credited as of this day. It may also show up as "credited" in your UK account, but...
Wednesday: ...if your UK bank is HSBC, the payment shows up in your online banking account today, with a credit date of Tuesday.
