short NYSE

hello. i've identified a few stocks listed on the NYSE which i believe will out-perform the NYSE in the medium term.

however, i'm negative on NYSE in general. therefore, my idea was to be long these particular stocks and short NYSE and profit so long as the stocks out-perform the NYSE even if everything moves down overall.

i wondered if anyone has gone short NYSE and what they used to do this. i am already registered on swissquote, so if there is an easy option through swissquote, that is what i would prefer to take.

Re: short NYSE

Hm.
you could short the S&P "minifuture", no? Widely followed + globex trading allows you to intervene during EU hours.....

Ciao
