I am a Srilankan who is working in Switzeland for last 21 years, I have Permit B.


I have a total Debt of CHF 65000

do anyone know can I pay the above sum through my pension money (AHV)

I am 48 now , Can i get the AHV Money

The debt is actually not that big if you work it out in accordance with the Op yearly salary, most people who have debt it is 3 times their yearly salary.

My research shows that Swiss household debt is around 180% of disposable income...

Which puts that at a much lower figure than yours.

you cannot take the money to pay off debt. Only if you are buying a house or if you move outside Switzerland (and outside of EU countries) you can get your contributions paid out early (minus taxes of course).

To get the money as cash you can register as 100% self employed .
