I am leaving Switzerland in a few weeks, I have a reka card with just over CHF 500 on it and I can't think of much to spend it on - does anyone have any awesome ideas?

Failing that I read that I can terminate the card and they will send me the balance in reka cheques (less a fee, of course).

By cash out you mean to cheques, or it's actually possible to get cash? Unless I missed something I didn't see anything about it on their FAQ page.

You could ask them if they buy back the REKA cheques especially when you are leaving CH where the REKA Cheques cannot be used.

Why not treat yourself to a weekend fling at one of the many mountain hotels/resorts before you leave? Trip up the Jungfrau for a final photo op?

Go to the Reka site linked by jrspet; you can search the online-guide for the many businesses (hotels, mountain railways, restuarants, etc.) accepting Reka checks/cards.
