If you are considering to open a 3a account with BPS Suisse...

Since I could not find much infos here about BPS Suisse, I decided to try to apply for a new 3a account for me myself. Their interest rate is one of the best (if not the best) in market currently for 3a third pillar account at 2,375%.

I was invited to a "personal meeting" at their branch where someone promoted their bank passionately to me and expected me to sign up a normal saving account too on the spot which is compulsory but he assured me that it is free. After browsing through the booklet I realised that it will cost me 20 CHF if I decide to close the account in future. I found the whole thing a bit not so transparent and decided it is not for me as I was looking for a 3a account and not with an additional saving account with possible hidden fees.

Just to share my experience here if anyone of you is looking to pay your 3a contribution as the year comes to an end. Heard CS is paying a good rate too. Anyone here has a 3a account with them?
