I have been in Switzerland for 6 years but for the first 5 years my taxes have been handled by a company paid service. I have now made the bold step to localize and therefore need to look after preparation of my taxes myself. Does any one have experience using a swiss based tax preparer to do both returns? Is it better to us a swiss one here and a US based one for the US return? Any experience on what one fees I should expect?

Here is an American CPA in Aargau....

It probably doesn't make that much difference in using a CPA here
versus back in the US. It might be more convenient though.
