Small amount of deposit to postFinance

Hi there,

Is there a problem if I just deposit like 70 francs to my post
account in the post office? Is there additional charges? Thanks.

Re: Small amount of deposit to postFinance

Of course it depends on the type of the account you have. Usually if you have on average per month less than a certain limit, you will a monthly fee.

Re: Small amount of deposit to postFinance

I never had to pay to deposit into my own PostFinance account ( using my PostCard at the teller in the Post Office ).

you don't pay when you deposit money, but a monthly fee can apply if your balance is less than a certain limit

Re: Small amount of deposit to postFinance

AFAIK there's a 3 CHF fee if you deposit over the counter, it's free on the ATMs that accept deposits.

Hi, to me it doesn't make any sense to pay for deposit to my own post account (or should I?) and I didn't find a ATM for deposit..

You better ask. When I have other people deposit to my account using the orange sheet 3 CHF are deducted from the end amount. That doesn't happen if I use the ATM for deposits.

Re: Small amount of deposit to postFinance

I've checked post.ch. The closest ATM for payments is in Vevey, so no luck this time.
