Have £'s, Can i send £'s back?

I have £500 that I want to put in my bank account back home.

Can i ask the bank to transfer them as pounds, or will they first convert them to francs then back to pounds?

If they do that then i will wait till i am going back to pay them in

I've got a GBP a/c here that I use for that. There is a charge for each transaction but no conversion.

Do you know if its possible to transfer it without having a gbp account? or do i need to mail you the £500 to do it for me

No, easier to pay me directly using Western Union.

Wait until you go home, or if you think you might have GBP regularly then set up a GBP account here - you won't be able to pay them in to your normal CHF account here without them charging you a decent percentage in fees.
