Quick question peeps.
My SiL is trying to send me the kids some Xmas money via ebanking, but even though I gave her our IBAN, she says it still asks for the bank code. Now my understanding is that the IBAN contains all the necessary details concerning the bank, sorting code, account etc. Am I correct?
If not, I presume Postfinance don't have "home" branches per se, but use a central location. Also correct?

Yes, I believe that the IBAN does include the account number, sort code, etc. However, you may also require the SWIFT code for your bank too. It is a requirement when making transfers from the UK to my account in Malta.

It's the BIC she needed, which I got from the PF website. Panic over
