Explanantion of Taxes through a Swiss Company

Hello All,

I am a consultant from the US and I've been awarded a contract in Switzerland.

The issue is that the client requires me to go through a company in order to obtain a visa.

Can someone explain what is recoverable and what is not after I leave Switzerland?

The following is a breakdown of taxes that I'm responsible for:

Employer Deductions
State Pension 5.19%
Unemployment 1.10%
Child Deduction 1.00%
Accident 0.60%
sickpay 1.10%
pension 6.50%

Deduction Expense Allowance

Employee Deductions
State Pension 5.15%
Unemployment 525 1.10%
Child Deduction 525 2.18%
Accident 1.10%
sickpay 6.50%
pension 246.5 20.77%
Children 2

Pension payments you can recover after deduction of a lower rate of tax. Talking of tax I do not see that on your list of employer deductions?

Re: Explanantion of Taxes through a Swiss Company

Ok after speaking to Manpower some more I have discovered that there are two pensions. One is state and one is from the company. The company says I will get it paid out 100%. The state one is a variable. Is there any documentation that anyone knows about on this?
