I'm just wondering if anyone in canton FR has received their tax refund yet? I filed in March 2012 and still haven't heard anything from the canton...not even acknowledgement of my filing. Is this normal?

ive not received anything so far....but im pretty sure I owe and my taxes were wrong.... playing dumb for as long as I can on this one though

We sent off our return a bit late, end March, and have already received the payment slips. BUT, these are only estimations. The calculated "acompte" normally arrives around October/September.

And no, you don't receive any acknowledgement.
