I'm starting to work in the Zurich area in September. I need to open a bank account and I really do not know which bank to choose. I hope someone could help!

I'll earn around 70k CHF, and I am 25 (Just giving this information in case there are any limitations).

I would like to have full availability if possible. I thought about Credit Suisse, UBS and ZKB, but this is just because they are the ones I have seen.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Many seem to get by with far less than that, so I guess it is OK. The Postfinance is an excellent "bank" for a transaction account.

Post Finance has one of the best English interface, very easy to use & cheap. Only downfall is credits generally arrive at 6.20am the following morning rather than afternoon the day before. Remember to turn your phone to silent if you get text alerts!

If you are american though just ignore all other (very useful) posts and go with any bank that will have you. And good luck you will need it
